The Greenway Teddy Bear Sanctuary Family Placements
Greenway Chapel & Memorial Gardens now offer a special memorial site for the commemoration of babies and young children who have been taken too soon, a sanctuary in which parents and family can grieve and reflect.
The Greenway Teddy Bear Sanctuary is a permanent place of remembrance, incorporating a memorial wall for plaque placement and a memorial garden where plaques and ashes can be placed. Surrounded by Australian native fauna, the site is a unique place where parents can celebrate their baby’s life.
Our Teddy Bear memorial wall has been crafted to remember babies lost during pregnancy or birth, its colourful motif a fitting home for little lives cut short. This area can also be used for babies lost in decades gone past and is a perfect way of remembering those passed in times before memorialisation was possible.
Greenway also has a limited number of memorial sites at the base of the Teddy Bear Sanctuary available exclusively for the parents and families of those babies memorialised in these special gardens. We invite you to visit our picturesque grounds for a private inspection.
Memorial Placement is an exclusive service offering you and those closest to you the opportunity to be present while your loved one’s ashes are placed in a pre-selected site. This special service gives you the chance to reflect, say goodbye or simply have that special, quiet moment you may have missed at the funeral service.
Many people have found the Memorial Placement to be a helpful healing step during their time of grieving. For further information on this special service, please phone one of our memorial consultants on (02) 4369 2013.
Memorials are a wonderful way to establish a permanent, tangible reminder of what a loved one meant to us as well as offering a focal point for grief and ongoing reflection.
The Palmdale Group has established a Permanent Maintenance Trust Fund to ensure our memorial environments are maintained in perpetuity, giving you peace of mind and comfort in the knowledge that the memory of your loved one will live on for the benefit of future generations.
